New playthrough video: Drummer Jerome Reil performs the song ‘Splinters’ from our 3rd album ‘Turn off the world’. For the videoshoot of the drum playthrough we prepared a backing track, that was based on the original studio recordings from 2012 without the original drum recordings.

Jerome’s performance was recorded then in the Decaptacon headquarter at putrid cellar studio, Lünen (Germany). So the final drum playthrough audio remix and remastering includes a studio mix of the original record with newly recorded studio drums.

The original Turn off the world studio recording of Splinters had been played by Daniel Zeman in 2012. Jerome’s new interpretation reflects the 2019 live version of the song.

The Very End added powerhouse drummer Jerome Reil to their ranks in 2017. The son of legendary Kreator drummer Jürgen „Ventor“ Reil replaced founding member Lars Janosch.

Jerome Reil is endorsed by Nature Ears and recorded the drum playthrough with his Nature Ears InEar system NE-5.

The video has been realized by Social Media Konzepte, the online agency of our guitarist René Bogdanski.
